I recently had my embryos preserved prior to getting chemotherapy for breast cancer, how soon would you recommend that I get pregnant?

This is usually a question that has to be addressed between your RE and Oncologist. As a rule of thumb, there is a general recommendation that 2 years of remission should be Ok, but consult your doctor about your certain situation

This is a tough question and a combined decision between your RE and Oncologist should be sought regarding your particular situation. As a generalization, most Oncologists recommend that you are at least 2 years in remission before considering getting you pregnant. Some may recommend upto 5 years. In either case, you would still need a good physical evaluation to make sure your body can handle a pregnancy.
