Pregnant with Baby #2!!

November 24, 2008

I am so blessed. I am pregnant with my second child and I have a due date of June 3, 2009. I will be having a c-section, so I expect to deliver sometime towards the end of May. My son is 4 1/2 years old and he is so excited!

I want to share this cute little story. The other day my son was climbing on me and I told him to watch his feet so he did not hit me in the tummy. He looked at me so seriously and said "Why mommy, will the baby hit me back?" Kids are so wonderful and I can tell you my son keeps me on my toes. You never know what he is going to say.

I can't wait for this little baby to be in my arms so I can complete my family! God is awesome!!!

December 16, 2008

I just had my 16 week appointment and the heartrate went from 153bpm two weeks ago to 145bpm today. My gut feeling the whole time has been girl, but now I am thinking boy. Who knows!!! I find out December 31st!!!

December 16, 2008

Why am I just seeing this post?!!! I didn't know you were pregnant until you posted on my journey. I'm so happy for you!

Your son is too cute! I know mine talks to Andrea. He says, 'Andrea you were moving how come your not moving now?' Its so cute.

Congratulations and keep me posted on how you are doing :)

December 16, 2008

That's great. What a great age difference! I am 29 wks and my son is 3 1/2.

Can't wait to hear what you're having. Mine is a girl! HB was 150s...

December 16, 2008

Thanks Amy I am on here quite a bit, but I do not post a lot, so I think my posts just get lost in the shuffle. :) That is so cute that he talks to Andrea...kids are so much fun. What did he think when he first felt her move?

Kelli~ Congrats on being 29 weeks...not that far from having that little girl in your arms. At first I worried about the age difference being 5 years apart, but now as I listen to my son talk about the baby, I find myself in awe of how much he understands and how much he wants to be involved. I think I will have the perfect little helper. :) My sono is scheduled for Dec. 31 (18 weeks) and my son asked if he could go and see the baby too. How sweet is that???

December 16, 2008

He didn't say much when he felt her move just that he felt her. I think the age difference is good because I know Nathan understands which is nice. Your son is so cute. That is good that he wants to go!

Are you going to find out what your having on the 31st?

December 16, 2008

Thanks, you son is so cute too. I am going to find out what I am having on the 31st (hopefully the baby will be cooperative)...I have been thinking it is a girl this whole time, but now I am not quite as sure. Two weeks ago the heartrate was 153bpm and today it was 145bpm. If the old wives tale holds up, I think I have another baby boy coming my way. We plan on this being our last child, so it would be nice to have one of each, but if I have two boys I will not be disappointed in the least. I just pray the ultrasound shows a healthy baby. Keep me updated on your progress and I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas! ♥

December 16, 2008

I know what you mean about the 2nd. A girl would be nice but you would take a boy. I felt the same way. And, really just cared that the baby was healthy (still do). Keep me updated too and have a Merry Christmas.

Jeri-

I am just seeing this post, and realized we are only 2 days apart in due dates. I will hopefully find out the sex Jan 8th. My kiddos HB was in the 160's and has dropped down to around 150 at my 14 week c/u. My DH is thinking boy, and I have a feeling its a girl.

Can't wait for us to find out!! That will be soo awesome =)

Hope you have a great Christmas!!

December 17, 2008

So fun!!! Enjoy! can't wait to hear what you are having!

December 17, 2008

Hi Casey isn't it funny about the gut feelings. I just knew I was having a boy the first time and I was right. This time I was feeling girl from day one, but now I am second guessing myself. Who knows maybe I am paying too much attention to the heartrate now, where as 5 years ago I don't even think I knew about that wives tale. I am so excited to find out. I have not bought a thing for the baby yet. I am too scared to right now, hopefully if all goes well on my next sono I will quit being so nervous. Plus if I find out it is a girl I will definitely have to get some things because all I have is BOY stuff. :) How do people plan when they do not know what they are having???? I am such a planner.

Fran, thanks I am so excited to find out what I am having!!! New Years Eve will be a special day for me!!!

Hope you girls have a very Merry Christmas!!

December 17, 2008

I bought a few things for baby, but mainly yellows and my Texas football outfit for it =)

If I have a girl, I will be set for a while on clothes, my sister and best friend have girls. I also have 2 nephews, so if we have a boy it will even out the grandchildren =)

Thank you for the Christmas wishes =)

December 30, 2008

December 31, 2008

I'm just now seeing this post! First of all-your son's little comment is SO funny! How cute is that! Second-don't pay any attention to the heartbeat old wives tale! All of us may baby girls are proving it wrong! My little girl's heartrate yesterday was 132! And it's been under 145 the whole time! I'd trust your first instint! Although I had a really strong feeling I was having a boy-i was way wrong! But we were just that much more surprised! And third-good luck today!!!! I can't wait to find out the good news! Have fun!!!

December 31, 2008

Only a tiny bit bummed as this is our last pregnancy and I will not get to have that mother-daughter bond, but BOYS are so much fun in other ways!!! Whoohoo!!!

December 31, 2008

Boys are wonderful as you know! I'm happy for you and your son will love having a brother to play with :) Congrats again!
