My husband and I are high school sweethearts we have been married since November 16, 2001 we have a wonderful son who was born September 14, 2001 while I was a senior in high school. July of 2007 we deciede to TTC thinking I could get pregnant by Dec 2007. I became pregnant April 2008 and miscarried while out of town to a Braves game on July 28, 2008 at 13 wks. It was a blighted ovum. I was devastated I never imagined my son would be 7 with no siblings yet. We are currently TTC and I am on my first round of clomid. I am taking 50mg cd6-10 hoping to get pregnant by the end of the year. I'm hoping I get pregnant my first month with clomid. Baby dust to all!

K.D.-Stupid question, how do you make it to 13 weeks with a blighted ovum. Don't they do ultrasounds?

My doctor didn't have a u/s schedule till 18 wks. Maybe because I've had a successful pregnancy. I have a 7 yr old - TTC #2.

Ah, I see. Things are so different from state to state and country to country. Where are you from? I have not always had the same doctors but for all of them it was standard to have your first ultrasound at 6-8 weeks. I hope that this works and you get your wish on your first try! Baby dust.

Good luck to you with Clomid. Make sure to let them know you would like one earlier this time. I'm sure they will anyway since what occurred last time. I am so excited for you.

Hi KD. I also had a miscarriage at 13 weeks and it was a blighted ovum. I was never pg before. I hear they don't do 8 weeks for a lot of people. I wish they had. This time around I will get one at 6 weeks and 8 weeks. I have faith this will be my BFP month!

Hi K.D my daughter is also 7 ive been trying for 4 years with no luck my re gave me 50mg of clomid in Sept-Oct. I finally got a bfp Nov 17th. Im 7 weeks and go for my 2nd sono this Wensday to see the heart beat and get a due date! Best of luck to u and lots of baby dust and sticky glue ;)
