**Update To My Journey**

So I have had a rough go of things as far as TTC.
It has been a little over a year of trying with Dr.s help. I am having a hard time getting any dr. to listen to me. Wasted 2 years with a gyno. that was horrible. Now seeing an RE that doesn't listen to me when I say I am allergic to lactose! And lactose is a filler in most ttc medications!
After dealing with this stressful journey we have decided that ttc is not what we are going to do anymore. We are going to continue down the path of adoption which we started in 2007 but quit after thinking we could ttc alittle longer.
At first I was upset about never giving birth to a child but I realized my child doesn't have to come from me! The child just needs love and unconditional family support from us. Now I am excited to start back up with the process. If anybody on here has had a similiar situation I would love to chat with you!

My DH and I tried for a total of 8 years. We decided that maybe it was our calling to take in children that needed a family. We became foster parents to my 2 cousins, and decided that was the route we were going to take to become parents.
One month after we became foster parents (and looking to adopt as well), we found out that we are going to have a child of our own.
